What Is This Year’s Summit About?
In 2026, the China Vegan Summit turns its focus to the people, ideas, and initiatives shaping the future of the vegan movement in China.
Under the theme “Turn Ideas into Impact,” this year’s Summit builds on the China Vegan Society’s newly launched Vegan Incubator, a grant and mentorship program designed to support grassroots advocates and emerging initiatives in the vegan field. By providing funding, guidance, and meaningful connections, the Vegan Incubator helps turn ideas into real initiatives that reach more people, and create meaningful impact.
The Summit welcomes speakers and participants from diverse backgrounds to share their insights, practical knowledge, and experiences, helping advocates strengthen their skills, discover new approaches, and expand their vision of what’s possible.
It’s also a chance to get a closer look at the latest developments in China’s vegan field, meet the people driving change, and learn directly from the work happening on the ground.
What is China Vegan Summit?

Every year, we welcome speakers and guests from diverse backgrounds, including activists, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, researchers, businesses, creators, and community builders.

As most transactions in China are conducted digitally through local platforms, we strongly recommend installing Alipay. This will allow you to make payments in most locations, arrange transportation, and manage everyday purchases conveniently.
Although some individuals use international social media platforms, the majority of local residents rely on WeChat for communication. If you wish to stay in contact with people you meet during the Summit, we recommend installing the WeChat application in advance.
